Scott Ramseyer Cameron

 

Former Birmingham, Michigan resident Scott Ramseyer Cameron, age 68, died Friday, December 18, 2015, at Brookdale West Assisted Living Facility in Ann Arbor, MI, of dementia and related ailments. Scott was born on September 5, 1947 in Detroit, MI, the son of James Lloyd and Jane (Ramseyer) Cameron Jr. He grew up in Birmingham, Michigan where he lived most of his life until the past year. Scott was a graduate of the Hinckley School in Hinckley, ME and the University of Detroit, and for many years worked in the purchasing department at Ford Motor Company. Scott was preceded in death by his parents.

 

He is survived by his brother Bruce (Nely) Cameron, step-mother Mary Anne Cameron, step-sister Marjorie Gell, step-sister Suzanne Beery, step-brother Joseph Bilyeu, cousins Fred Walton and Jane Anderson, and close friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 5:30 P.M. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline, Michigan with Rev. Fr. James Lopez officiating. Family and friends are invited to a dinner afterward. Memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home where friends may begin calling from 4:30 P.M. until the time of service at 5:30 P.M.
